My poem Poster about Harlem (dream deferred) by Langston Hughes

Prompt: As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

I really enjoyed this class because we talked about many interesting stories together. The short story project was my favorite assignment because it let me be very creative. I connected most with our writing lessons because they helped me express my own thoughts and ideas clearly. However, I still need more help with grammar and punctuation as we start the next semester. Today we worked on our blog and projects. I was not here

: Many holidays center around traditions. Describe one tradition that is important to you or your family and explain why it still matters (or why it no longer does).

During the month of Ramadan, my family follows the tradition of fasting from sunrise to sunset. We meet every night to share a big meal and spend time with one another. This tradition still matters because it teaches us patience and how to be thankful for our food. It also reminds us to be kind and help people who are in need. We just chilled and work on what we had to do DIDNT DO MUCH

How have the holidays changed as you have grown older? Compare your experiences of the holidays during childhood with how you experience them now, focusing on shifts in perspective, responsibilities, or emotional meaning.

When I was little, traditions were just pure magic it was all about the excitement, the treats, and mostly just waiting around for the fun to happen to me. Now, as I've gotten older, my whole view has changed; I realize I get more satisfaction from actually helping, whether that means decorating or cooking a big meal. It’s definitely less about the frantic anticipation and more about feeling this quiet, comforting stability that comes from repeating the customs we share. Honestly, the biggest shift is that the focus moved from "What will I get?" to appreciating the connection and time spent together. Today we worked on our vocab words I learn new vocabulary words

Prompt: Write about something you’ve outgrown but still miss.

I spent so much time playing Pokémon Go when it first came out, walking all over town with my friends trying to catch every rare creature we could find.We would literally spend entire summer afternoons hanging out at the local park, which was a huge hot spot for raids and Gym battles.\Now, it feels like that massive initial hype is over, and I don't really have the time or interest to wander around just staring at my phone screen anymore. But honestly, I really miss the feeling of discovering a new, super-rare Pokémon and the shared excitement we had when we all met up in person to play together. It was a unique, unifying moment when everyone was doing it, and I miss how that game actually got us off the couch and out into the real world. Today we took out vocabulary quiz  I learn about the bear rights and laws.

Today we presented our mask  I learn many thing about many classmates and there culture

Prompt: Write about the best gift you have received.

Receiving the car stands out as the best gift because it immediately provided me with significant independence. It completely changed my daily life by making it easier to manage school, work, and social plans without relying on others. The freedom of having my own reliable transportation gave me a real sense of responsibility and control over my schedule. Honestly, no other present could have offered the same level of practical utility and personal empowerment. It wasn't just a vehicle; it was the key to handling my life efficiently. Today we worked on our mask and continue to complete it I learn more about my cultural identity.

What part of your identity do you want your mask to reveal?

One thing I think connected was when the girl change her mask to a different shade to hangout with different people. It's crazy how people change how they act to hang with different people.  I think it just show The part of my identity on my mask I want to reveal is probably that I am Pakistani. Im proud to represent my country and I love it. I always ready to tell anyone about my culture. Also the Fasting image where I can not have food or water for the whole month whenever the suns out.  It's a cool thing to explain people when they have no clue.  Today we watched a short film about people with mask I learn more about how people word looks like.

Prompt: In “I, Too,” the speaker expresses pride in his identity and his rightful place in America. Reflect on your own life: What aspect of your cultural identity are you most proud of, and why?

The aspect that I'm most proud of in my cultural identity is being Pakistani. I like to embrace it my whole families is from there, and I love it over there. I enjoy knowing that my families from there. This makes me special compare to many people. Especially in the basketball it differs me from other and I really would want to put my country a show, showing them how basketball is fun and how more Pakistani should get involved.  Today we read a poem about cultural identity and started our mask project. I learned that cultural is important in everyone because no two being are alike and culture is something important to you and your family.

Write about a moment in your own life when you followed what looked cool or fun, only to realize afterwards that it wasn’t the smart or responsible path. What influenced your decision, and how did your perspective change later?

One moment in my life where i saw something that looked cool or fun and wasn't very smart. Was when I was in 5th grade and my friends at the time wanted to sneak into lake they told me it was fine and cool. I ended up doing it and jumping the fence and it was cool in the beginning until someone saw us and we had to leave and I was never good at jumping fence so I ended up ripping my pants and they clowned me and I had gotten in trouble for doing so. Today we read a poem about us freedom and equality, and started a project  I learn how to analyze poem and use them to
