If I had to write a poem right now, it would definitely be about the constant balancing act between the classroom and the court. My life feels like a blur of 6:00 AM shooting drills, heavy textbooks, and the pressure of knowing my junior year grades are make-or-break for college. I’d write about the smell of floor wax in an empty gym and the specific stress of trying to study for a chemistry final while my legs are still shaking from practice. It would capture that feeling of being totally exhausted but also incredibly hyped because the season is finally in full swing. Ultimately, the poem would be about grit finding the energy to be a leader for my team while keeping my GPA high enough to get recruited
