 McCandless’s obsession with absolute independence led him to reject essential tools and advice, leaving him dangerously unprepared for the Alaskan wilderness. In my own life, I tried to handle a massive semester project entirely by myself to prove I didn't need help, but I quickly became overwhelmed by the workload. Just like Chris, I learned the hard way that seeking total control often blinds you to the risks and the reality that we all need a support system to survive.

 One moment I had to step out my comfort zone is when I went to a basketball camp all the way in Florida. The competition was quite good but there was something the coaches said that stuck to me.  The way I find time to enjoy my day even when there is a lot going on is I look forward for something good that will be coming up. I know they might be a lot going on but I always perceive through it. Three ways I enjoy the small moments are playing basketball, talking to friends, or playing video games. I like to do all three of these things to pass time and just enjoy them overall. This could even include short amount of time just getting 10 shots up but I enjoy it a lot. Write about something you’ve always been curious about.

 Something I've always been curious about is the ocean. We as human have never fully discover the water and oceans and I really am curious about whats out there. Sometimes I'll watch documentary and stuff but they can only say so much. Our planet is huge and there is a lot of water on it so I feel that is something we should take to discover. There could be many other species down there and we don't even know and it just seems super cool.
